Amid the rolling green hills of Long Island, elegant geometries of glass, concrete, and stone emerge. This is Wave’s End House, a bold contemporary statement immersed in a natural landscape that has remained unchanged over time.
It is undoubtedly thanks to his strong appreciation for high-end design and his awareness of the extraordinary quality of Made in Italy that a well-known businessman, for his latest personal project, once again chose to rely on an Italian designer.
It is no coincidence that the project commissioned to interior designer Biancamaria Santangelo turned into a true journey across Italy, in search of Italian craftsmanship and materials to be brought all the way to Long Island.

The flowing lines of Long Island’s lush vegetation provide a soft backdrop to the refined three-story villa. The two above-ground levels and the basement are connected by a helical staircase—an engineering masterpiece designed and built in Italy by Edilco Scale—which stands as the true icon of the home’s fluid architecture.
Through the large glass windows, the functionality of the interior spaces remains in constant dialogue with the surrounding nature.
