Helical Concrete Stair – Rimini

Helical concrete stair from the C-A line, featuring a curved tempered float glass balustrade and characterized by a large diameter exceeding 3 meters.

This C-A line helical concrete stair, with a diameter of over 3 meters, was installed at the entrance of a cutting-edge mechanical company. Its design establishes a strong dialogue with the building’s innovative architectural language and striking identity. The curved, transparent, and luminous glass balustrade enhances spatial perception and allows the structure to be appreciated in its entirety.

The stair was selected by both the designer and the client for its sinuous vertical development and its ability to make the circulation path—from the warehouse to the upper-level production area and finally to the administrative offices on the top floor—architecturally engaging and visually compelling.

The aesthetic impact of the stair is ensured not only by its design, but also by the selection of high-quality materials chosen for their visual and material coherence. The white concrete finish, meticulously refined by our craftsmen, harmonizes perfectly with the marble cladding specified for the treads and the glass balustrade.

Specifically, the curved tempered float glass balustrade performs not only a fundamental safety function, but also enhances luminosity and conveys a sense of openness and harmony to users. The glass panels were anchored to the structure dedicated stainless steel bushings, further enriching the stair profile with refined technical detailing.

As a final step, LED spotlights were integrated to emphasize the stair’s design and material qualities, achieving perfect harmony with the surrounding architectural context.

The exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail applied in the construction process have resulted in a staircase of remarkable aesthetic impact—an exemplary synthesis of elegance, beauty, and functionality.
