The stair was carefully designed and shaped to be positioned at the entrance of a renowned mechanical workshop in Modena, reflecting the company’s core values of precision and quality.
In this significant project, the design phase played a crucial role, enabling the development of a stair that combines strong aesthetic impact with full functional performance, while complying with current regulations governing installations in public-use buildings.
It was necessary to engineer a balustrade incorporating a high number of vertical infill rods to ensure non-climbability and full compliance with safety standards.

The curved balustrade was calendered and welded to form a single continuous body, free of visible interruptions or joints, ensuring structural integrity and visual continuity.
For the finishing, the same ceramic cladding installed on the floor surfaces was extended to the stair treads, creating material continuity and seamless integration with the surrounding environment.
Enhancing the overall architectural composition, a custom-designed planter was integrated at the base of the stair, incorporating greenery as an integral component of the space.
As the sole connection between the workshop area and the offices, this staircase stands as a refined example of constructive fluidity and structural expressiveness.
